First United Methodist Church of Ardmore wanted to relocate their contemporary worship service from the church’s Fellowship Hall into their historic Sanctuary while retaining the traditional worship service already using that space. The challenge was to convert the Sanctuary from one worship style to the other in no more than 20 minutes.
A complete re-design of the chancel area, telescoping choir risers, a large projection screen that descends from the attic, power operated black-out shades over large stained glass windows, new lighting and sound systems are just a few of the components designed to allow this flexibility.
