Dale E. Selzer, FAIA
Dale E. Selzer, FAIA, is the President and founding principal of Selzer Associates. He has built and maintained a reputation for quality architectural design during the fifty plus years of the firm’s existence. Mr. Selzer believes in satisfying the requirements of the client in an aesthetically pleasing manner within budget constraints and takes an active role in all of the projects of the firm.
In 1983, Mr. Selzer was inducted as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects for design excellence and service to the profession.
Mr. Selzer graduated from Ohio University with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering degree.
Selzer Associates’ diversified practice includes retail, commercial, institutional, religious, and industrial projects in this country, Europe and Central America. Selzer Associates projects have received thirty-eight awards for meeting our clients’ needs with design excellence.
John R. Brown, AIA
John R. Brown, AIA has been a Principal of Selzer Associates since 1983 and is Vice-President of the firm. Prior to joining Selzer Associates in 1977, Mr. Brown worked for a prominent architectural firm with an international practice. He worked on large commercial and industrial projects in this country, Europe and the Far East.
Mr. Brown is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has served two terms on the National AIA Practice Committee. Mr. Brown was a panel member of the AIA’s “Successful Firms Roundtable” in Memphis.
Mr. Brown graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree and a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Mr. Brown has been Principal-In-Charge of numerous historic restoration, adaptive re-use and church projects. He is the firm’s primary contact for Southern Methodist University projects.
